The Terrazi Starnose is a wooden-chassis car with wild handling characteristics and a very minimalistic design approach. It closely resembles the Caterham/Lotus Seven in design, it also resembles the Donkervoort D8 GTO, even though the D8 GTO didn't exist until 2007, 2 years after Ridge Racer 6 was released. In Ridge Racer 6 and Ridge Racer 7, the car is a Dynamic handling type, which means it drifts very easily and exuberantly. Inexperienced drivers may find themselves swinging violently around corners if the brakes are used in the wrong place or too much steering is applied.
It is also known for having very high speeds in its respective classes in Ridge Racer 6 and in Ridge Racer 7, especially in Category 2 and Category 1. Its main strength is its top speed, as it is faster than all the standard vehicles (faster than the Raggio) in terms of normal top speed. Its biggest weakness, other than its extremely difficult handling, is its weak nitrous boost.
The Starnose is best used with Astaroth or Bosconian tire packages in Ridge Racer 7 to stabilize its handling. However, once tamed, the Starnose is an extremely competitive racer. In Ridge Racer 3D, however, the Starnose has been converted to a Mild handling type, therefore giving it better grip out of its wild drifts. Its name appears to have been inspired by the four very compact and bright headlights on the car's nose.
The Starnose also could be the successor to either the Terrazi Starlight or Age Pegase.

Trivia[]
- The wooden chassis construction may be a nod to Morgan, a British sports car manufacturer known for constructing their cars' chassis out of wood. Strangely enough, just like this car, the Wild Gang also uses a wooden chassis.
- If its Category 1 version is equipped with Druaga parts in Ridge Racer 7, it will have a higher standard top speed than even the Kamata Angelus, at 346km/h.
- Oddly in Ridge Racer 6, the Starnose is a 2 seater, but from Ridge Racer 7 and onwards, it is a single seater. It's possible that Terrazi did this to the Starnose to make it lighter.
- Having the "Star" prefix, this car could be a spiritual successor to the Starlight, both being open-wheel cars. However, the Starlight is a racecar, meanwhile this is a road car.
