The Decision is a sports car/racing car from Terrazi, exclusively featured in Ridge Racer Type 4.

Design and performance

The Decision, first produced in 1991 with a sticker price of 10 million yen, assumes a GT racing car look with headlight-mounted ram air system, extensive aerodynamic work, light weight and a powerful engine. Interestingly, the front fascia and rear lights resembles that of an Ambitious. It features a turbocharged 3.0 liter V10 engine, mated to a 6-speed transmission. On R4's branch system, it sits at the lower end of Stage 4.

In all, the car combines the visual aspects of JGTC race cars that competed during the game's development, with mid engine layout/shape influenced by the Honda NSX and headlights from Toyota Supra, like the Ambitious.

Although the RRR is a commercial car paced race, most of it is based on limited edition cars designed for racing except for qualifying, but this Decision is based on a general mass-produced car. This car with a 3,000cc V10 turbo engine machine was released eight years ago at an exceptional price of about 10 million yen and attracted a lot of attention. It became a status symbol of the executive class for a while, but after the economic bubble burst, it has moved to the final round of the RRR. Of course, since it is tuned for racing, it is a machine that hits a maximum speed of 310 km/h with 520 horsepower, but there are few points to investigate, and you can see the high specs of the Decision as a commercial car.
