To unlock the car in Ridge Racer 64, the player needs to hit the helicopter on any Ridge Racer track. The easier method is to hit the helicopter is on the Short course, using a really fast car like Ultra 64, but to unlock the car in Ridge Racer DS, the player must win 20 multi-player races or clear the all the Grand Prix races on the Z difficulty.
