Rave Racer is a racing game created by Namco. It was released in 1995 for the Namco System 22 arcade platform.
It is the third game in Namco's superb 'Ridge Racer' series, offering the player four different tracks to race on; two of which are based on the original game. The four tracks are: Ridge Racer Short, City, Ridge Racer Long, Mountain. Graphically enhanced versions of the City and Mountain tracks appear in Ridge Racer PSP as "Midtown Expressway" and "Greenpeak Highlands" respectively. Victor Entertainment released a limited-edition soundtrack album for this game on 21/10/1995.
