The Lucky and Wild Evolver is a muscle car made by the American company Lucky & Wild and it is the hero machine of Ridge Racer 3D. It's one of four machines that were driven by Reiko Nagase, as seen in the introduction of the game.

Based on the styling of the car, it is a modern recreation of the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 with a mix of modern muscle cars such as the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS and the Equus Bass 770.

It makes a return in Ridge Racer Slipstream, as a Class 01 machine, retaining the guise of its Ridge Racer Vita counterpart, a grand touring muscle car built for GT racing, with its notable distinction being the large hood scoop housing the blower.

Trivia

• Despite the Evolver being based off of the Ford Mustang Boss 302 (where the name is derived from a 302 cubic inch engine, or 5.0 liter V8), the Evolver actually features a 7.3 liter supercharged engine (approximately 446 cubic inches).
• The Evolver is one of four cars driven by Reiko Nagase in the entire series, the others being the Age Prophetie (Ridge Racer Type 4), Soldat Raggio (Ridge Racer (PSP)) and Lucky & Wild Mad Bull (also in Ridge Racer 3D).
• The blower on the Evolver's hood is actually branded by Zolgear, which could imply that besides engine technology and upgrades, they also specialize in forced induction (in particular, superchargers).
• The Evolver is featured in Drift Spirits in December 2020's Ridge Racer themed special events, along with Kamata RC410 and Age Elenie.
• The Evolver's heavy Chevrolet Camaro design influence is likely derived from the real-life Lucky & Wild arcade cabinet, which featured a seating booth decorated to resemble a third-generation Camaro.
