The Lizard Reckless is a car produced by Lizard, appearing only in Ridge Racer Type 4.

Design

The Reckless, resembling a contemporary American open-wheel car (specifically the Reynard 97i with Chaparral 2K's rear wing) modified into a closed wheel prototype, places itself as one of top-end Stage 4 cars, meaning that the Reckless features a stellar performance. It features a turbocharged 3.5 liter V8 engine (500cc less than an 1998/1999 IndyCar engine and 850cc less than an 1998/1999 CART engine, although the infamous 1994 Mercedes 500i engine did displace 3.5 liter) which, despite making less power than the Cataract, still performs better than one particularly because its light weight.

A pure racer fighting for the long-sought RRR conquest.

Lizard, who made an outstanding performance in the Final GP last year, sent out this Reckless to win the final race, which sadly has never won. The design features of this machine are the front nose that protrudes only one front and the rear wing that is mounted a little away from the body. Only about three-quarters of the rear tire housing is built, but it goes without saying that all of them are designed for speed. The engine is a turbo-charged V8 with a displacement of 3,500cc. The maximum speed of around 330km/h and the spec of maximum 1,000 horsepower are suitable for aiming for the final battle. This engine configuration, which does not look like an American car, also shows the enthusiasm for Lizard's RRR domination.
