The Highside 880 is an unused vehicle in Ridge Racer Unbounded.
Description[]
Nothing is known about this vehicle within the game such as its class and statistics. It's enormous size completely dwarfs the Behemoth 200 and suggests its part of the same Special class.
This vehicle could have been part of the same set of Frag races the Behemoth 200 features in, where the goal is to destroy as many Cop cars within the time limit. Due to its nature of being a heavy construction vehicle, it could have possibly been used in theoretical events which require to cause as much environmental damage as possible.
It is unknown as to why this vehicle was rendered unplayable in the game and as to what it was capable of.
Appearance[]
The 880 looks like a generic mobile crane with resemblance to the LTM 1090/2. The word "Haulers" is written on the arm of the crane, a typical job vehicles of this type conduct.
Stats[]
The statistics of this vehicle is unknown but it will most likely be similar to the Behemoth 200 albeit even slower.
Trivia[]
- Only sprites of the vehicle exist within the game files, with no actual 3D model featured in it. This could suggest the developers forgot to remove the sprites out of the game before release.
