I mean, I am a moderator of this wiki so I may as well. I have been working on a Need for Speed: Most Wanted mod where it ports RC410 into the game. I will provide the download page(s) to it later when I'm completely satisfied but right now I wanna show how far my work has gotten with one screenshot. But yeah, see you for the full release!
What's on your mind?

If you are viewing this, chances are: The wiki has left a link to our wiki. I hope it is nice learning about the origins of the PAC-MAN Mobile, but if you don't mind staying for a little longer, we wouldn't mind having some extra editors to clean up a bit (and maybe add a bit more if you are a bit knowledgeable of the Ridge Racer series), especially since both FMecha and I have our hands full atm.
With the newly added map of the Ridge Racer 6 World Xplorer, I thought it would be nice to add images of the different vehicle liveries that can be unlocked by the player. If anyone can provide decent quality images of the machines, that would be great for the map and for the vehicle pages in general, as it seems that the wiki doesn't have a lot of RR6 machine pictures.
Thanks in advance for anyone who decides to contribute!
Yeah I know, it has been a week it has happened and we're pretty much past processing it, but I guess I want to let people know that discussions related to it will be suppressed for the time being.
For how long, I don't know. But what I do know is that I was told that making any mention of it on any of the pages will only bring unwanted attention to here, so it's best if discussions related to "it" is kept to a minimum.
At the moment, I am currently trying to make a standard for how car/machine pages should be structured. Currently, my plans are to
Reorganize the overview pages into several subsections
Think about if the performance section should either get condensed into the overview section
Create a Drift Spirits section for machines that make an appearance there
Change the section names around
Create a page going over how machine pages should be structured.
If you want a peek at how things are looking, take a look over at this mockup of the RC410 page I created where I change stuff around before I make it standard. Bear in mind that, as of posting this, the page isn't final.
You are free to leave a bit of feedback on where I should be taking this. Thanks, and take care.
Despite what it seems, this wiki isn't really the "end-all" for information, just like most wikis on the Fandom wiki, and it shouldn't be.
Several crucial information can be missing, some can be hard to understand, and some may be flat out lies. I acknowledge this, and I want to do what I can to contribute to combat these issues.
If you, someone who played that Ridge Racer title in particular, see something that sounds wrong, I highly encourage you to correct that information. It will at least help people in the end.
-New Namco Reference to add: Tamagotchi
-Add content from Mario Kart Arcade GP (Soul Varoon Kart as a rework of 3D's Pac Man machine, and Pac Mountain & Labyrinth course layouts)
-Add content from Unbounded (Wolfseye GT machine, and Skrillex music)
-Ridge City Highway return as a final course to race similarly to RR7 Seaside Route 765.
-Midtown Expressway from Rave Racers & Ridge Racer PSP will return in some design changes so you can see parts of Rave City Riverfront and Crossbay Tunnel.
-Machine's Old Model Skins (Similarly to Unbounded's DLC; Soldat Raggio will have a Rivelta Solare model skin)
As nice it is editing stuff, please don't go to war with others on what is and isn't acceptable ways to edit a page. Doing so would lead to getting reprimanded depending on who started it. It doesn't help either if you decide to ban evade just to continue it. That's it for this announcement.
P.S.: Also as a precautionary action, I have enabled autoconfirmed only edits for the coming month. I do apologize if this goes against the spirit of the wiki, but I should have it disabled by the end of June.
Been trying to figure out where we can get high quality logos for all the brands. You know, Kamata, Soldat, Assoluto, Terrazi, that sort of thing. I've seen the logos in various games with various resolutions (like a lower resolution version for PSP), and I've just been curious if maybe there's "source" images they came from that are the highest possible quality. Or just high quality images in general.
If you had a keen eye, you may have noticed I removed a rule from the Content Guidelines. The following rule is:
Terminology: It is okay for cars to be referred to as cars in Ridge Racer (Revolution), Rave Racer, Rage Racer, R4, and Ridge Racer V. However, for games released since Ridge Racer (PSP), it is preferable that they are referred to as Machine for consistency. In hindsight, I do feel like that comes off as an annoyance to like... make the terminologies consistent across several games in the Ridge Racer series, so basically, I have decided this rule is dead.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Ridge Racer 7 has a mirror mode according to a lot of people, but nobody has ever explained how to enable mirror mode.
I noticed it's a thing in the UFRA Special Events add-ons, but I haven't figured out how to use it anywhere else.
Hello everyone! I'm ChartreuseGreen, and if you've been on this wiki lately, you might have seen some of my edits on a few pages here. As a fan of the Ridge Racer games since my childhood, I'm excited to be contributing as much information as I can regarding the entire Ridge Racer series!
However, a big thing that I see the wiki struggling with currently is consistency in both content and design. From subjective, overly long descriptions to course map screenshots that come in way too many shapes and sizes, I feel that we should start setting some standards as to what the wiki's content should look like.
To start, I've made a new infobox template for courses, and I'm currently in the process of adding these infoboxes to the course pages. As of the writing of this post, I've added new infoboxes for the RRR, Rage, and two of the R4 courses.
In terms of aesthetics, I've noticed the R4 color scheme is in full effect, but the current logo of the wiki is based on the 1993 Ridge Racer logo. To this, I offer an alternative logo design, based on the Real Racing Roots '99 logo:
And on the topic of the R4 aesthetic, I've also made a mockup of a possible template that can be used for all course pages, which is inspired by the R4 "Course Data" screen:
I've actually hand-traced the shapes for every known Ridge Racer course so far (even RR64's Renegades and the two courses I could find from Draw & Drift), and I'd like to know if people would want to have this map style for the course pages. Additional course information could even be inserted in the image itself, if desired.
As with any major changes in anything, I'm open to suggestions and comments about these plans that I have. At the end of the day, I want the readers of the wiki to enjoy their time here, and I hope these new designs that I'm proposing can do just that.
That's it for this post, I guess. See y'all around!
One of my close friends recently gave me a ridgeracer game. It's called RidgeRacer Unbounded. Do you know if it is a good game?
What if Ridge Racer had its own movie? What if it was by the people who made 2008's Speed Racer?
Based on my short story, I made a movie idea page.
I’m constantly busy on other wikis, and I can’t find any room to edit further on this wiki at the moment, and it may be a long time before I do find room to be in this wiki, so I guess this may mean my final goodbye, stay busy, and I’m going to be highly inactive for a long time, see you at around July 20
Alternative names for the SEGA Hornet include:
Hornet: an abbreviation for the SEGA Hornet as used in the Daytona USA Franchise
AGES: The name given to an autobot resembling a Dreamcast VMU, whose main form is the SEGA Hornet.
Recently I installed Ridge Racer Accelerated HD on my iPad Mini 1 (I Had downloaded previously, older iPad layouts allow me to install old, removed apps). It loaded good as I expected it to be but when I launch the application ridge racer accelerated does NOT work on my iPad Mini 1.
When the game goes to load after the opening it freezes and does not respond even when I have internet on/off. It took me a while to figure out that all servers were shut down and the game was no longer playable, so now I’m sad it’s gone now :(
With permission from the cool fellas at the Ridge Racer Discord, we are linking them to our wiki! Within the next few days, you should be seeing a new thing regarding the users in the server on the wiki main page.
Currently, it is broken as it is not properly set up, but that won't be an issue once the day comes. For the time being, do give them a visit via the invite link below!
